March thru May --- Gray Whale Watching Location: Westport Dock Area Watch these giants of the sea, as they migrate to their Alaska breeding areas. Take a chartered cruise for an up close glimpse of the Grays. Boat excursions leave from the Westport Marina. Call ahead for reservations.

March 20-21 --- 48th Annual Driftwood Show and 7th Annual Glass Float Roundup Location: Historic Grayland Community Hall (Just east on Grange Rd off Hwy 105) Amateur beachcombers are invited to exhibit their treasures of driftwood, glass floats, flotsam, jetsam, and beach photos for judging. There are 22 categories. Nautical fair with demonstrating artisans. Dr. Ebbsmeyer will provide information and exhibits on how things float in the oceans all over the world.
